Roeper Student to Compete in World Fencing Championship
A junior at Roeper, Adeline Senic's fencing journey has led her to remarkable achievements, and now she's gearing up to compete at the cadet (under 17) and junior (under 20) World Championships in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, later this month.
Adeline's fencing prowess has already been on display with a bronze medal at the European Championships in Italy and silver medals at Cadet World Cups in Budapest and Napoli. Additionally, she clinched a bronze at the Cadet World Cup in Manchester, England.
Adeline is coached by her father Anatolie. Her mother is Olympic and World Championship fencer, Ann Marsh-Senic, Roeper class of 1989.
"I'm thrilled for my first world championships and incredibly grateful for this opportunity," Adeline shares. "Meeting fellow fencers from around the globe and traveling to new places is something I truly cherish."
