THE ROEPER MOSAIC AUCTION 2013
Bloomfield Hills, Michigan – February 7, 2013
The Roeper School’s annual MOSAIC Auction has been scheduled for Saturday, March 16 at 5:30 p.m. at the Detroit Athletic Club (DAC). The auction theme, “¡Viva Roeper!,” promises a fun evening. This year’s auction will include great items to bid on such as tickets to The Late Show with David Letterman, an “instant wine cellar” complete with over 30 bottles of premium wine, a Chicago getaway, a two-night stay at the Hotel LeBristol in Paris, France, and Disney Park Hopper passes to name a few. Unable to attend? Please join our online auction opening Friday evening, March 8 at www.roeper.org/mosaic.
MOSAIC - The Auction for Roeper benefits the Mariann Hoag Financial Aid Program at The Roeper School. MOSAIC is a name chosen to signify the many different people from so many different backgrounds that come together to make the event and Roeper so great. Roeper strongly supports the notion that giftedness is not limited by gender, ethnicity, race or socioeconomic status. New for this year, we are thrilled to unveil the MOSAIC Wall, generously sponsored by Fifth Third Bank, which will provide guests with 130+ unique giving opportunities.
Roeper students play various roles in the success of this event. Many lower and middle school students have created collaborative projects in their classrooms to be sold in the auction, while upper and middle school students will volunteer at the event to assist guests with electronic bidding. A jazz trio, consisting of Roeper Upper School students, will also provide live fiesta-inspired entertainment throughout the evening.
Enjoy dinner, live music and both silent and live auctions, all while helping raise money for The Roeper School. This event is open to the public. Event tickets are $80.00 each or $800 for a table of 10. Tickets are available now through March 4, and must be purchased in advance. For more information, to purchase tickets or make a contribution, visit www.roeper.org/mosaic or call Aimee LaLonde-Norman at (248) 203-7359.
