Open communication among parents, children and the camp is a strong factor in the happy adjustment of your child at Roeper Summer Day Camp. Parents and children who wish to have a camp tour and a chance to ask questions are encouraged to attend one of the four orientation sessions. Orientation sessions will be conducted by Camp staff in the Steward Building on Roeper’s Bloomfield Hills campus on the following dates:

• Saturday, February 6, 2010     10:00 & 11:00am
• Saturday, March 6, 2010   10:00 & 11:00am

Campers must be between the ages of 3 and 11 on June 21, 2010 to be enrolled in camp. Children must be potty-trained and able to use the bathroom independently to attend camp.

A separate form must be completed for each camper.

Applicants must fill out the registration and mail it with the $150 per session deposit to:

Applications for returning Roeper campers and their families will be accepted beginning January 25, 2010. (Applications received prior to this date will not be processed before January 25.) Confirmation of registration will be mailed within three weeks of receipt after January 25.

Open Registration for new campers will begin on February 8, 2010. New camper applications received prior to this date will be processed beginning February 8, and registration confirmation will be mailed within three weeks of receipt after February 8.

To be processed, FULL payment must accompany applications received after May 1, 2010.

Bus Transportation: Not available

The remaining camp fees, after the enrollment deposit has been applied, will be due in two equal installments as follows:

• Installment #1    Due April 1, 2010
• Installment #2    Due May 1, 2010

A limited number of Roeper Summer Day Camp scholarships are available for 2010. Award amounts offered may be partial- or full-session scholarships. The maximum scholarship awarded will be one session per child. Scholarships will be awarded based upon demonstrated financial need and scholarship availability, until all funds are exhausted. Applications are due March 1, 2010. Please contact the camp office for a scholarship application and submit it with your camp registration form.

The $150.00 per session Enrollment Deposit is nonrefundable after March 31, 2010. For refund of deposit, cancellation must be received in writing before March 31.* After March 31, 2010, no refunds will be issued, and all unpaid fees shall be due and payable in the amounts and at the times designated in the contract.

There are no refunds for absences. For extended illness, refunds will be on a per-day basis beginning after the fourth day of absence. A signed letter from a physician is required for refund.

* Once registered, all cancellations must be received in writing. If a cancellation letter is not received, payment will be required.
